Has anyone seen tikay?

Hi all

According to the Play the Presenter table, tikay is due to be the PTP and normaly posts a thread to tell peeps, now is the table correct? or is tikay allright? any info please.

Tonight is tikay,s sleepstack night, for £11 you can have 4-5 hours of play and at 5.30 we have 27 players

    My K-K into A-A, all-in Pre-Flop.

    Sadly, the guy SlowRolled it. Ugh. It's odd how folks get their kicks.

    Oh man, what is it with me, deepies & KK!!! 2nd deepie running I've gone holding KK all in pre Vs A2. Never mind, I'm sure they'll hold for me sooner or later. A great way to spend the best part of nearly 3 hours though.

    We shouldn't be so quick to judge.

    He may have been multi-tabling and only got there just in time.
    He may have had a connection problem - it's been known to happen.
    He may have had mouse/tracker problems.
    He may have had a cat crawling around attacking his mouse.
    He may have been distracted by a young child.

    There could be several other reasons why he took time to call.

    In this case, no.

    He Raised, I Re-Raised, he Re-Re-Raised, I shoved. The timer ran down to the very end, then he Called, & typed "ul, lol".

    Asked to explain the dwell, he said he was "busy typing in the chat-box".

    He later apologised.

    Bit of a mystery why that sort of thing gives folks a buzz, but I guess if it ever happened to them.....

    Inexperienced players may not realise it's inappropriate, so I Posted the matter to raise awareness.

    as you know tikay--i got similar treatment in one of these--have a game with a great bunch of lads i thought--but there is always one--thinks its funny is what gets me---terrible behaviour i say--we should name and shame these "characters"  (for want of an illegal expletive)

    No, I don't wish to name & shame, my idea is to help players like him understand that it's just not done.

    Those of us who play these Tourneys are recreational players, & we play for fun, & pleasure.

    Slow-Rollers need to realise that it's a contemptible act, totally outwith the spirit in which we play these events.

    The combination of the slow-roll + "UL, LOL" is just ..... It's times like that you really want that K to come, then watch them rant that everything's fixed.

    yeh--you are right there tikay--i havnt named the fellow-- it just gets my goat up thats all--they know who they are--but is there a point in helping such players at all?-- when they are obviously stupid, childish malicious minded people--- i mean---"sorry"---i was busy in the chat box----telling everyone i was laughing at you---bit too late to help these types imo- ---i host live games here at home, and this kind of play  happened--once--and once only--we had a vote and never invited him again--because it was not ignorance of etiquette or a misunderstanding -- it was because he was a nasty person --you cant make horrible characters nice, just by telling them not to slow-roll
