    I don't think sporny is complaining about the bad play of A3. He's commenting on the remarkable number of times it (it being bad play) pays off.

    Personally I wouldn't play that hand but people do love a suited ace don't they.

    Surely they go hand in hand.
    He wouldn't have complained if it didn't hit.
    But that is the point i totally agree,9 out of 10 times they do hit,
    which will just keep encouraging them to keep doing it.

    Man what's going on ? The any ace idiot wins nearly one third of the time ( often ). If you could choose between the two hands which one would you choose ?
    In the New Year try your hardest not to be affected psychologically by these events ? It is a waste of energy ultimately. Try to learn to let go and concentrate on " did i make the right decision ? "  BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE IS A TOTAL WASTE !
    Trying to help you man. Usually i think people need to play maybe 200k hands plus before they approach this level of reasoning unless they are just super logicians like Noseybonk.
    You must have played or seen that many hands now ?
    Also when i look back i can see that i went through a period of almost ungovernable rage because people sucked out and i never did. That was my game improving. Makes sense now. I really don't care anymore.
    The new problem is to stay motivated because i've seen so many hands and situations.
    What do you think about what i've written here ? Say whatever you like but please do respond.
    I've taken some minutes out of my life to make you realise that it's just self pity i suppose.
    Poker is a sick and often arbitrary game but it's nowhere near as nasty as chess.
    When you lose at chess there is one reason only and we cannot become more intelligent irrespective of willpower. That is cruel ! Looking in the mirror and saying I AM RETARDED is not much fun. Poker is good because of luck which also makes it bad, see man ?
