Have you been there recently? I went there just after it opened and the tourny didn't run because of lack of numbers. Hopefully business has picked up a bit by now, it would be good to have some alternative to the Grosvenor!

hi yb, friends went down last week and said it was good, standard of play was good by 80% of players, had dealers (always good) and had a good atmosphre. im sure it would be good to get yourself machka and lucky down (along with anyone else local) and make a good night of it. let me know if interested as i can get another half dozen down to. phil

I do understand what u mean debs.....ppl being abusive and nasty is never the way 4ward but ppl r getting sick of this and saying aloud what others are thinking.

Yeah when I went there even though it was basically empty the staff were all really friendly which was good. I prob wont be in southampton until mid january because I'm only there during term time for uni, but yeah I'd defo be interested in going down there for a night some time!
