Heyyy, the opposition player had been playing fairly standardly up until this point and had shown no signs of doing anything like this before.

I checked the flop as i planned to Check/Re-raise but looking back i proberbly should have continued the flop, Does he always have a straight here?

I really dont think he has a made str8 here.

I think its unlikely that you are behind and even if you are, you have outs.

You have to snap fist-pump kiss the dealer under the mistletoe call here.  There is so much you are beating and shoving with a straight on the turn loses so much value he can either see your cards, it's a very poor play or he doesn't have a straight (the last option being more than likely IMO).

And even if they do have the straight, you've got plenty of outs.  It's beyond +ev to call here.

flop is passable at best 

turn is hideous

bet flop, call flop raise, bet turn call turn raise, bet river call river raise, then ask if you can put more money in .....
