Here's some rational thinking for you all - yesterday I think I had my worst run of luck ever.  On 7 occasions I got all-in with cards still to come and was favourite on 6 (the other was KK v AA all-in pre).  I lost all 7 at odds I have calculated as just over 100,000-1.  The truth is I have been playing poker for 4 years and over that period there is a chance a run like this will come eventually.  Nothing to do with cards being fixed.  The same players who made the calls are the ones who have allowed me to make a healthy profit from the game.  I ended up about 5 buy ins down which my bankroll can take comfortably and I move on not worrying about it.  For the record her are the 7 hands with my opponents percentage chance of winning at the all-in point.

A/A v K/10 (hearts) - flop 3 low with 2 hearts - all in on flop - 36.57% - heart on river
A/A v Q/10 - flop J/9/3 - all in on flop - 34.24% - 8 on turn
A/J v K/6 - flop A/K/3 - turn 8 - all in on turn - 11.36% - K on river
K/K v A/A - all-in pre - 80% - K didn't hit
J/J v A/6 - all-in pre - 28% - A on flop
A/A v 8/8 - all-in pre - 20% - 8 on flop
A/A v Q/3 - all-in pre (yes no joke!) - 15% - safe flop comes K/10/4 then runner runner J/9

The 100,000:1 thing. I've not calculated it myself, but you're talking about those specific scenarios happening exactly how they did BEFORE they happened. In reality you have to take each hand in isolation, as at the time of each hand previous events will have no impact on current probabilities - which I'm sure you know but others may not.

In Response to Re: totally random hands, yea sure : OK i apologise for the rational thinking.  I know the outcome for one has no bearing on the other - just pointing out that every time I was all-in with cards to come I lost.  I recalculated - its actually about 10,000-1 so I was exaggerating slightly The chances of Wolves winning every game from now till the end of the season is unlikely but if they win their next one it doesn't make winning the one after that any more or less likely
