BTW Look at Tony Kendall on Hendon mob player database, if that is "not got a clue" then give me clueless every day of the week!
You want people calling with A2 and k5, the skill is protecting your QQ, and realising when it is beat. If you bet bigger you might get these junk hands to fold. They do not always hit their junk by the way but you are focussing on this, rather than when you win.
If you dont accept the losses you wont enjoy poker. Stick around here, enjoy the community, and get to know tikay, your opinions will change, trust me!
with respect to TK - a bit out of order mate. I don't know him personally but he has always seemed knowledgeable to me. The advice he has given me and others has always been decent. If you don't agree with his advice/analysis fair enough.
As for Tikay's advice, every situation is different, what worked in one hand may not work later on dependant on board texture or rising blind levels, lets say i have K9 at level 1 of a tournament, I limp in to see a flop, that is ok but at level 8 when the action is faster I need to raise or fold here, a limp is the wrong play and often ends up as "limpers tax"
Tikay also has knowledge of the players, after all there is no point limping in if MickJenn1 is behind you!
Tikay has played in the WSOP main event once and he cashed
Limping is perfectly acceptable in early levels, read Harrington on Holdem strategy part 1
