Unbelievable hand - can anyone help in working out the odds?
Was a year or two back in a live game, and I still have never seen anything quite like it, I don't think, even online.
I think it was about 7 or 8 handed. Anyway, what basically happened was that 5 players had a pair fre-flop, and every single player hit trips on the board! And to make it more amazing, the player who had aces hit his ace on the river! As you can imagine, there was quite a lot of betting pre-flop, with a couple of players all-in, and I managed to get out of the way with 66 or 77 I think (although I was to hit 3 of a kind, luckily I would not have won!).
I don't know if anyone is able to work out the odds of this happening, or if anyone knows a good site where working out the odds of something like this would be relatively easy?
