to define 'average' is very difficult, are you talking about the average miles from a specific supermarket or nationally? there are a number of factors we must take into consideration. Is the supermarket in a rural area, is it open 24 hours, how many trolleys are there in comparison to customer numbers, how many are standing idle at one time and for how long, i reckon its about 86.34 miles per week

Lets say its an ASDA one in a northern town with a population of 30,000 with 3 other major supermarkets in the area, this one has 200 trolleys and 24 have wonky wheels which I am sure must effect the result

I can't believe people still go out to supermarkets. Online online online! Infact I can't believe people still go out at all. Everything can be delivered. Saying that over Christmas my beer logistics operation had a fault and left me with low stock so I had to venture out 1 mile to the shop. Nearly suffered a fatal panic attack!

Ok    dont quote me on this,   but    its 93 million miles approx from earth to the sun,     500 million miles to mars.     well if we take the eliptical orbit of halleys comet  and deduct both earth and marses orbits and then using the sumarian callender we end up with an unusual answer,    The answer is..  believe it or not....

It's been fine for me for years (using Ocado). Very occasionally get a substitution (sub is acceptable) but never ever had anything wrong. Had a cracked egg once but it was one of twelve so I let that go! lol

Anyway it's hard for them to mess up 48 x Magners and toilet roll .... lol
