Ie its just how the hand played out,  the villain is very loose so his range is verywide  10 j is the more likely hand he coud have ....he min bet flop like he was drawing then a stronger bet on the turn as if he made his hand ..... no excuses i played this hand badly and read the board and villain like a dumb a^^

but do you shove the river or play it weak and call

why would you now raise the river when u now have a fsirly decent showdown hand, but by no means the best hand.

he may of called the turn reraise with the nut str8, or as he then got a flush draw.

    Flat call.

i would min raise the river and dump the best hand when he overvalues two pair and shoves........

    check call the river.

    Sorry,should explain why check call.

If you bet and he raise you what do you do?
depending on the size of his raise.

if you bet and he shoves, what do you do
    is it a bluff?

basically if you bet think you will only be called by a better hand,j10 or flush.

when he min bets the flop he has a nine 99% of the time, now i would feel by calling the min im being robbed of value so i want to raise enough as to keep him in, when the queen hits he obviously loves that card so im pretty sure he has Q9 now  so i would shove here because im 95% sure he will call with his monster 2 pair.....

yes i agree, but could also have j 10,same would apply,so when the queen comes on turn,he bets out, then he is raised,he knows that his oppent also has a big hand,so he just flats the the raise, hoping to get more value on the river.
you cant rule out j 10. so therefore the safest option is to chck call.

cheers m8 that was my dilema really, im never folding here but i just applied damage limitation by calling his bet on the river....... by not raising the flop i got stuck on the river as it was plausible he could have j10 or the flush.

    But i defo missed a trick  ......
