Hey Delaney and good luck with the spin-up. I've moved this over to the Poker Clinic which is generally a pretty good place to go to for poker advice :)

    Cheers,

hi delaney may i suggest the deepstack at 7-15 or 9.15 it`s only £2.20 with 12 mins blinds adn 5000 chips, so if your doing well wat more can you ask for 4hrs of poker for £ 2.20 there is also some good banter in the chat box

When i was on a small bankroll i tried the 2.20 bounty hunters that run daily... If u do well in these it is definately a good way to build your bankroll.... but try to enter the ones with the most runners as this gets u more value for what u buy in! :)

If you were winning at cash stick with it, the variance in MTT's will kill you. Nothing worse than palying for 3 hours only to bubble the money on a bad beat. If you do go down the MTT route good luck.

The 2.20 bounty hunters, and bounty hunters in general are awful value for money (if you're aim is to make money of course)

A 100 runner £2.20 bounty hunter, pays the same for first, as a £2.20 deepstack with 29 runners.

It's appauling value, as SO MUCH of the prize pool gets given to players who finish outside the cash. Also, a min cash returns less than your buy in, as they assume you will have taken some bounties to add to it - not always the case, especially if you play tight early, which is the recommended strategy.

Yes they can be kool if you run golden and take 300 bounties, but how often does that happen? - Hardly ever, therefore if you play for the win, like you would a normal tournament, you're -ev before you even start.

Avoid them at all costs, I'm amazed they're so popular.

The argument of "well I might get some money back if I don't cash" - doesn't really go down well with me either - The aim is to win, and if not cash - consolation prizes for people who finish half way down the field are just ridiculous, but if you like that kinda thing - gl 2 ya.
