Groan. Got stuck in traffic, & had failed to Reg before I left the Office, after THE busiest & stresssful day I can ever remember. So, stuck in the traffic, I rung 4 peeps, (Rich Milner, Dan Bulmer, Tighty, & Dyl) who I can trust, to give them my Log-In details so they could enter it for me, & none of them answered! My bad, I normally enter all the Tourneys during the morning. In case I forget....... Rich Milner rung me back at 7.01, & Dan Bulmer just this minute called, at 7.07. I have a feeling I'm gonna run real bad tonight! Posted by Tikay10
I'm saying nothing about the KK hand in level 2 of the Double Stack!

Painful stuff!
But I did not have to call his River Bet, I'm pretty much only beating a bluff on that board. The 10 paired on the end, so I was not even beating top pair on the Flop by then.
But I'm back up to 1,800 now, after A-J three ways, which missed the lot, but was still good, lol!

He wins a £24 SPT Semi-Final Seat on a night of his choosing.
Just Post on this thread, or send me a PM, to let me know what night you wish to play. Knowing you, I'm pretty sure I'll see you in Luton. Well done bud.
Many thanks to all who played, it was my first Evening Online for almost a week, due to diary congestion, & I got well & truly battered. I missed Registering for the Sleepie, lost 90% of my stack in the Double Stack very early, (though ended up going pretty deep), & got knocked about by everyone in the other two. Not my finest evening online!
Big thanks to Mere, as always, for his impeccably & punctually presented Spreadsheets. Double workload for him last night, as we ran a parallel Fun Comp elsewhere, & so Vince had to work hard to earn his fee. His fee was identical to my cashes last night. He also got 10% of my winnings. GG him.
On a slight side-note, the runner-up in last night's Main Event is a very long-standing friend of mine who's screen alias is "Laxie". Her real name is Dawn, she is an American, & she lives in the Republic of Ireland. She's as mad as a box of frogs, maybe madder.
She got £840, I think, & will probably spend that money on a trip to Spain this weekend, as APAT have an Event there this weekend, which SPT-Rich will be running, with others. Dawn has supported APAT since Day One.
She had a huge Rail for the Final Table last night. She's a long-standing & immensely popular "blonde", so all the regulars were cheering her on.
Heads-Up, the battle raged for 30 or 40 minutes, with the chip lead swaying to & fro. Sadly, Dawn then disconnected, & with Blinds at some monster 30k-60k or whatever, her oppo quickly obliterated Dawn's stack. Bit of an anti-climax really, & very sad for Dawn.
Her oppo got a bit of stick for not "sitting-out", which was also rather sad. It was his perfect right to "mop-up" her chips while she was disconnected. I would like to think I'd never do it, ditto many others, but he played wholly within the Rules, & it was his perfect right.
Still, a good night, overall, & I was delighted for Dawn. I have to be a little careful when Railing my friends, as I'm not supposed to favour anyone, so it was a bit awkward really.
A very dear & special friend read my words (below) & thought they could be interpreted as suggesting I might NOT wait for my opponent.

For the sake of record, I'd sit-out all day & all night in such cases, & often have. But by the same token, what the guy did was wholly within the Rules, & he was perfectly entitled to do as he did - it's his absolute right. I would not do it, ever, but I have no right to impose my morality on others. He acted entirely within the rules, even though some of us - many of us - would not do the same.
I hope that clears up any potential misunderstanding.

The current table:
I've trebled up since that, nice Mr Mere. New spreadsheet please!
