Trickier call than you will think?

This call looks easy but with this villian its not.

I raised with QQ knowing XX would call, when he 3 bet opted to flat and see flop if any over cards I can take it from there.

I had not been at the table long but did have notes on this guy, he plays any 2 cards in any position, raises light, 3 bets far to much and over rates suited connectors.... my notes even state that he 3 bet and called an all in with 45 suited. I had never seen him shove with a draw but is likely to jam with str8s and flushes.

Am I in a hole or do I have to call regardless and spew if he has the str8, if I was sure it was a flush draw I'd call in a flash?

i think you should of bet the flop as this would have gave u a bit more information on what he has cuz if he re raises or shove here its an instant call but he may have saw the check on the flop as u being weak but its a massive raise by him and what wud he be shoving with here other tthen str8

tbf u seem to have a good read on ur opponent so u shud go with what u believe

im guessing u folded did you?

with the info u have said the str8 does look possibile but hard to lay that hand down

you could 4 bet pre flatting is ok vs light 3 bettor, i would lead flop and never dream of folding at any point even more so when you have half you stack in the middle on turn

if he does ur quite happy as at this point u know ur ahead i just think witht he check ur allowing yourself to be worried if a flsuh draw or straight draw comes out and in this case he shoves and it tbf makes the call very hard with the info wayne has on this opponent

we have the 2nd nuts with redraws wtf are you doing.  snap him off lolol.  maybe a tough decision if we are 300bb deep too (actually no its still not).  with less than 90bb behind just snap.

the only thing tricky about this call is moving the cursor to the mofoking call button at a rapid pace, if the guy was the biggest nit in the world and this was the only hand he played in 25 years i would break my mouse calling so fast

the only thing tricky about this call is moving the cursor to the mofoking call button at a rapid pace, if the guy was the biggest nit in the world and this was the only hand he played in 25 years i would break my mouse calling so fast

Thanks guys. Everyone says call which I am glad... as I did and would again in this spot! Yep he had 45 of clubs, sic! I was a little annoyed with myself putting him on this hand but felt I just had to call.

Just add I did very soon after win back 2 x buy in's off him, so long term feel it is profitable to play this guy.

if you say he 3 bets light and gets it in with suited conns, why are you not 4 betting for value?

anyway, assuming u call the 3 bet aiming to stack off any board thats isnt horrific then this is one of those boards where u stack off...he still has enuf pair/sd/fd combos to make this the right call and even if not we have outs

also why would you check the flop and then just pot the turn lol.

also why would you flat pre. you say he 3 bets far too much and calls all ins with SC's, just bash the 3/4 button and watch the money roll in (over time obvs..)

against this sort of played re-raise pre all day everyday, if they're willing to go in with 45 suited etc get in pre

also dream flop and as played again snap call, ul this time but defo can never fold in this spot

you can't just put him on 45, he cud easily have 77, 66, 33, 76 here amongst other hands

not clicking the 'SHIP IT' button instantly is almost a slowroll, or at least a nitroll

It only  crossed your mind that he might have that hand as it was the only one beating you.

It's a snap call every day of the week.

And twice on Sundays.
