I recently went to purchase a VGA cable to hook my laptop up to the tv.
I went to a very well known computer shop ( dont want to say the name in case thread gets deleted for legal reasons) that rhymes with `geesey hurled`, and they had one there for £24.99.
I wasnt sure what the price should be but thought that was a bit steep.
I went to a huge well known supermarket that rhymes with `desco`, and saw the exact same cable, same manufacturer, same length, everything identical for...........£6.80

Don't think the thread would be deleted for mentioning PC world - even they'd be hard pressed to deny they're robbers.
Cheapest on test was just as good as the most expensive !
and I sem to recall the price differance was over £100
