Ok so we have three young students looking to buy a poker chip set, so they are able to hold home games at their shared flat.... They pop into the local town and locate a shop that sells allsorts....They very nicely ask the assistant " Do you sell poker chips " , Yes replied the assistant there right over there , excited with their find the boys then decide to divy up the cost £10 each for the £30 priced item...On leaving the shop the assistant very happy with his 1st sale tells his manager, who replies stoutly " £30 but they should have been priced at £25" with that the manager tells the assistant to pop £2 in his pocket and give the boys £1 back each... How much have the 3 boys now paid for the item???? and where has the £1 disappeared too???
Just a bit of fun

3 x 10= £30
9 x 3 = £27 + £2
10 x 3=( 30 - £5) = £25
£5 owed, £1 x 3 = so deduct £1 from each person
£2 to shopkeeper
maths is solid
ps.can you give me some money
Google the £1 riddle if anyone wants the solution
56p go?
They paid £9 * 3 = £27, £25 to shop, £2 to assistant
