Personally, I wouldn't have called the original pre flop raise....
however, after that the hand plays itself.
Awful play by others in the hand tho imho.

Ok first of all like the others above, i wouldnt of called the raise with QJ.. It was a massive bet to start with 11x a blind bet shows such strength.. What are you beating at this point in time.. has he raised with Q,10? j,10? i would say more like AQ AK, JJ in which case your are dominated in them all (apart from AK). Once you have called, the re-raise and amount of callers gave you gret value to call, so dont blame you for the 2nd call... Even on that flop everyone says it plays itself, but not IMO, You have put out a nice big bet (1/4 of your stack) so you are NOT commited just yet. You see a short stack allin shove (which i would call) but then you see another all in and another all in... In this case i would expect them to have AA,KK or a set... there is no way the last or even the 3rd person would go all in there with less than QJ... I would be folding there quicker than superman on laundry day.

QJ/KJ are the most overplayed hands in holdem.. if a person raises (who is a tight steady player) thye are likely to have AK,AQ,AJ etc, so you are dominated, if the flop then comes J,5,2 for example.. you are going to go bust...

Also incase you didnt know, 2 suited cards actually only improves your hand my 5%, so you will only make thta flush 1 in 20, it can be better to just ignore they are suited... if you wouldnt play them off suit then dont play them suited IMO

Hope this didnt sound a bit heavy, but especially as it was a deepstack there was no need to be calling a raise with QJ to start with

       hi roy
the reason i called the pre - flop raise was M17 had been raising around the same amount on previous 6 hands with mainly rubbish so i thought he was doing a Neil Channing so with me QJ suited i thought it was worth a punt

many thanks for your feedback m8

hi Charlie  many thanks for your feedback m8

normally i wouldn't have called pre-flop but M17 had been doing same sort of raises on previous 5-6 hands by time it got back to me i thought it was worth a punt to see a flop tho was slightly concerned about Bear but thought maybe he was thinking the same as me wasn't to bothered abount fann as that person had been calling with rubbish hench M17's 7k chip stack after 15mins when flop came i thought i need to see where i am at so bet half of fann stack who i expected a call from plus i wanted to see what bear would do as for M17 had him on maybe any pair Q and under or AK AJ Q-LOW KICKER when bear call his all in gave it a bit of thought had him on kk or AA so he would be looking for 2 cards to my possible 6 cards plus outside chance of flush & straight so i called thought the odds were good & let the Poker Gods decide if i read it right

thanks again for your feedback m8 very much appreciated

hmm  Michael, in view of the raise (massive over bet  pre flop) I'd have passed  most times at this stage. Not to say every time  though .. It depends on so many things but in general I'd pass in that situation, ..

However I do like to get chips early in any tournament, so there would be a case for being in the  coup online but not a live event   (reasons....for  and against  in  these situation's)

Play with you best feelings in any hand, !! ( sixth sense if you like )

Also once you have bet the flop you have almost committed and there are four players all-in ? (eeek)

With four players in it's in the lap of the poker fairy to help ...and she did !!  (Nice one)

I dont like the call pre with it being so high and a deepie. the second call is ok as u getting the math. I like the bet size post flop for information, but you get the info you need but dont listen to it. In my opinion u fold the hand soooo fast!

As much as I think your a great person, and not sure where you have gone, this was a typical Turpin play.

You had something, overbet the worse hand, and got lucky.

Overall...bad play that got rewarded, from the initial call to a re-raise,to the call to an all in that was just SCREAMING AQ...good job you hit the jack.

I think you play the D/S the same way you play the faster tourneys. Sometimes you get lucky, as in above, but longer term, it is just bad play.

This is a 10 hand deepie. Not a 6 hand BH.

Sorry mate. Hope your well, but you just got lucky.
