will my luck EVER change!

i have been on an AWFUL run for the best part of a week now, in fact i reckon my 8yr old daughter could have done better! i get to the late stages of a 2.20 deepstack and i'm in the top 10 and think my luck might be changing and a ft finish might be in the air, then i get this hand!!!! what i want to know is, was my call on the flop a bad one or could/should i have layed my hand down? i did manage a bottom end cash but for a profit of 14p for 3hrs work it does rub it in a bit!!! i'm at the stage where my game is proper messed up HELP!

    You got a guy to limp, call a 4x raise at 600/1200 with 79s, what exactly is the problem ?

    hey waller o be honest i wud make that call myself cz your preflop raise wasnt enough and you was pricing him in for the call cz was 3k into 8.7k i wud of made it about 5.4 ish he mite still of called cz i noticed this myself. but imo the main problem was your pre flop rise wasnt enough even though u was action cz for 3 to 1 most peeps will call on gap connecters

    Sizing pre is fine in my opinion.....

    Any notes on the 2 limpers? The limpers on sky seem to either limp call all the time, or limp fold all the time....

    Its important to make notes on them, don't just put "passive" - or "station" - you need details....

    If one or both of them limps then calls a raise behind no matter what the size, I think you can make it slightly bigger. If they both limp fold, then it's just about right.

    If you have no notes, it's fine. 

    You're out of position, but that's not sure a bad thing here, you have aces......

    Hi mate, there were 22 left at this point with 20 cashing, i was in the top ten. I didnt shove because i wanted one caller, i'm more concerned about whether i should have folded to his shove on the flop as it was a dangerous board. i just managed to scrape a min cash after losing this hand but would have almost certainly made ft if i had won this hand, small margins!!!!

    oh, and i had no history or notes on the player, but have now obv!!!
