A HUGE Thankyou!
I know its said all over by many people that sky poker has a great community, but the support myself and the rest of tsp received over the weekend was beyond belief!!!
I couldnt believe how many pages the thread has with all the well wishers, it really felt like we were all in it together, and we all felt proud and honoured to be representing sky and the community.
It was a very long weekend, but immensly enjoyable and a great experience for me personally, making my first big live tournament final table.
I am very happy with the way i played throughout the tournament, but just fell abit short. With the situation i found myself in 4 handed i really needed to pick up a hand as my stack was short and so were 2 of the other players, and the 'play' is really taken out of the game and you need to find hands at the right time. Unfortunately it wasnt my time to take down a big one, but hopefully that time will come, and hopefully i will have all you wonderful ( and crazy!) peeps with me on the journey!
A big thank you has to go to the sky crew who were there for the entire weekend, Rich, tikay, blandy, lml, all the other tspers.
A number of my friends from sky actually came to the casino to rail which was really nice and made me feel alot more comfortable seeing so many familiar faces around! ( too many to name but you know who you all are! tyty)
Ben and lewis stayed with me throughout the whole tournament which i really appreciated as they were really supportive and gave good advice when i needed it! Hopefully ill be able to return the favour very soon.
The donny boys also turned up for the final table and managed to lower the tone as per usual!!! sigh, always a good laff and they keep every one in good spirits!
I hope this result proves just what team sky poker is all about. Its not just about the players that get on the team, its about every one coming together and being part of something truly unique!! And for the players who make the team, or who are aiming to make the team, it just showes what is possible. I was 3 players away from £60,000 and winning one of the most prestigeous uk tournies from basically a free entry!! And if i can do it, loads of you can!!
But, without the friends and community behind it, it would not be the same!!
So on to the next one, hopefully the vic and the £15,000 GUKPT, hopefully one of the team will go a couple better than me and we can all get behind them and show them what sky poker is made of!

Was great to be there on Saturday and Sian and I will be at every event we can possibly make to support TSP in the future.
Was watching the live feed on Sunday in total suspense, a few real large cheers went out!

Watched final table thru live stream until you went out. You had to make your move, but the poker gods weren't with you. None the less finishing 4th from a field of over 200 top players is an awesome achievement - br proud!. Very well done and I hope to see you in Luton.

Was surreal screaming YES at the Internet everytime Danny (commentator lol) won a pot!
It was a pleasure (and, at times, a little traumatic!) being a "virtual" railer for you and the rest of the gang! It was a superb performance and very much deserved so, once again, congratulations!

It's things like this that make this site like no other. The feeling of togetherness is overwhelming (Stien being the exception, obviously! lol) and long may it continue!
