Facing tricky spot pre..

edited February 2011 in The Poker Clinic

Its Level 2 of this tournament and players are limping alot. Player X is quite often isolating limpers by raising. On the button i pick up a genuine hand to 3 bet his 'isolating raise'. He has often done this and if players folded he has showed quite weak hands. When he comes over the top am i priced in to call with one of the previous limpers callin my raise? And am i right to call?

For me it's shove or fold in that spot.

If you call you are more than likely going to have overcards on flop, plus you havnt left yourself much behind.

if you call what you gonna do post flop if the board comes down with paint or an ace. fold and wait for better position or push all in , give him a headache, dont know what type of player you are but in my opinion they are your 2 choices.

Sorry i ment just call his initial raise of 120. I wouldnt think of callin the 4-bet obv because i wouldnt have much behind. He had a very wide range and tbh i wasnt worried about the limpers because they were playin 'call to hit' poker.
