In Response to THE ALL ROUNDERS LEAGUE - WEEK 1:
If you haven't heard about the ARL, please read  THIS . The first event is tomorrow (Monday 7th).  It's a £10+£1 No Limit Hold'em freezeout.  Each player starts with 2,500 chips and the blinds go up every 12 minutes, so there's plenty of play. And plenty to play for!  There should be a pretty decent prizepool, plus it's your first chance of scoring a big finish in an ARL event and making sure you're in the running to win that SPT seat. You can register  HERE .  You'll also notice the event's been highlighted in the main tournament lobby. Look forward to seeing you at the tables.  Good luck!

    Maybe it should be All-Rounders.  And it should definitely have the apostrophe: All-Rounders' League.

    Yes, there are some pretty talented tournament players in the line-up (excluding J-Hartigan and tikay1, obv).  But I think it's good to challenge yourself from time to time...

    I'm on PTP duties this evening, so will be playing some Omaha cash, as well as hosting the ARL.

    I'm up for some 5p/10p PLO before 19:30 - and will be frequenting the 10p/20p tables later on.

    The ARL may be the only tournament I play tonight, although I'm tempted to enter the TSP Classic (so, once again, I can luckbox my way to the final table and then get pwned by lJAMESl).  I'll make a final decision closer to 21:00.

    He made the mistake of playing AQ (crushed by Q6), JJ (dominated by K6) and JJ again (outdrawn by JT).

    One has to confirm that is all correct.

    However, the Q-6 (I 3 bet pre with A-Q) & K-6 ( I made it 4x pre with J-J), were both sooted.

    I adore those calls, quite happy to lose 20% of them.

    Next case, which is the 8.30pm take-on-tikay. I'm still in, but decided best to go to sleep until the dust settles & the 3-bend dogs have run out of steam. I'm an 8 bend stayer. ;)
