over last few months poker has been on a down swing some say its the site some say its variance me i think its may be bit of both lol
i had a great start to 2011 winning or cashing in few tournys and had my fair share of losses but all of a sudden i cant win a hand or cash in a tourny
i seem to get out drawn by play the hand wrong or badly i will post some examples
people who say its rigged well there is no way it can be rigged it does how ever seem to be a action site ie lots of picture cards or aces always seem to pop out but when i have picture cards i get a low board so u can make your own mind up on that one lol
if its variance then i hope it turns soon as my bank roll is dwindleing to almost zero and have decided that enough is enough with putting more money on i came to sky for the community and there seems to be alot of controverse there so when my bank roll goes i will only be able to play the free rolls for few months but i will stay loyal to sky for now

Keep your chin up, these are just unlucky,

first one commend you for entering with a raise, I guess you are unsure of where u are when you get the call and the call after the flop, you continue strongly, he just can't put down Jacks, he is 5% to win so 19 out of 20 times you win here, this is just the one time!

Second hand QQ I fold here for two reasons, it's only 10/20 blinds so we can always find a better spot later on and you have 2 all ins in front of you, QQ does not play well against 2 hands and for that reason I fold, sure you are the favourite going in but there's too many outdraws and always the possibility one of the two all in hands was AA or KK

Third hand I raise pre flop with KQ, I always say to myself KQ is a raising hand not a calling hand so when villain raises behind I fold it, I would like to think that had you raised enough with KQ he would not have called with J5 (his raise is a standard dealer button raise with any 2 - I don't think he calls). A lot of Sky players do seem to fall in love with "sooted" cards so he may well have called and after that flop he is never going away, again just unlucky and they always seem to come in threes!

Variance thats all, keep plugging away

1st hand...again a cat2 bad beat......filthy..you did nothing wrong

2nd hand a bit less ...odds about 40% against three players.....still frustrating tho...but is AIPF (not quite sure how with those cards at those blinds i mean all in with 10 9 preflop..into a pot of 30..hmmmm)

3rd hand....sorry is only 40% flush draw....and he did reraise you....but ...as the saying goes....s..t happens..

I know what you mean the last all ins i have made around12 i have been in front but have been out drawn weather its AA or an A flush, its come to the point that i know i will lose just have to grit my teeth and carry on regardles it will surley turn around !!

This is what I take issue with on Sky. Any attempt to slow play or trap ends up in disaster. Any call with totally dominated cards wins. I know that it can happen, it's always been a penalty you are likely to pay, and that was part of the skill in assessing the odds and likelyhood of the outdraw.

Particularly in tournament play, the trap/slowplay, and therefore drawing the maximun chips from your customer is vital. If you are to progress and build a good stack in any tournament you need this skill. Unfortunately, being outdrawn on Sky appears to be the norm rather than the exception. It's not that it happens, it's the frequency that it happens that is concerning to me.

Shoving is only a small part of the game, but on Sky it's become the accepted norm. The message seems to be ''fail to shove at your peril'' in almost every situation.

I see your sentiment about trapping but on such a wet board your middle set here doesn't look too strong to me so i would not be trapping, I would be betting all in after the flop to take the pot down as quickly as possible. The way you play it with a 3/4 pot bet enables you to get away from the hand when he raises all in, to me his all in there stinks of JK or J8, he hasn't got a set of Q as he didn't raise preflop but he could have limped with JK. Having said all that you were ahead after the flop and rightly made the call so yet again poker gods deserted you.

Did you see the 865 show with John Tabatabai? He analysed a very similar hand to this and he stressed the need to bet strongly a made hand and not give relatively cheap draw cards.

FWIW I don't think you get villain off top pair K kicker with any bet here so you get very unlucky again

Outdraws happen on every site and in the live game, the purpose of using the all in bet in No limit games is to see the full 5 cards on the board, when that happens any 2 cards hole cards can become the nuts!
