Am i playing too tight.

Ok was just playing a 9 handed mtt on a different site and it offers your statistics in a little box, not this is something i thought might be useful to look into spotting leaks.

They read

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 93 hands and saw flop:
 - 6 out of 10 times while in big blind (60%)
 - 3 out of 10 times while in small blind (30%)
 - 13 out of 73 times in other positions (17%)
 - a total of 22 out of 93 (23%)
 Pots won at showdown - 5 of 5 (100%)
Pots won without showdown - 8

Most of my BB flops are checks, and my 3 SB hands i cant even remember.

Obviously my showdown win rate is great, and overall pots im winning is good to what im playing, but is 23% of hands just being too nitty?

no its fine, maybe bit less would be good 9 handed

6 handed i usually am around 20% and im not exactly a nit either

Hard to comment though as thats 1 session/tourney but at a guess maybe your playing a tad bit loose, i would expect to be between 10-15% 9 handed

23% is the amount of times you get to a flop not the total amont of hands youplay as you are going to be raising and taking the blinds down quite alot. i think you are prob playing too many hands but its a 93hand sample size  so you really cant take anything meaningful from these stats.
