I dont like it, cant see what story your tryin to tell? im assuming your just playing the player here....

sick bluff surely your opponent can call with overpair here

The reverse implied odds of doing this are you end up on 200nl

He bets pot twice so must have something, can't understand the raise on the turn as 3 looks like a blank to me. Shove on river is crazy to win just £33 in the middle, I don't understand why he pots twice then just calls the turn reraise. Your bet looks like it doesn't want to get called to me and whatever he's betting on the flop, turn will probably call imo but seen as you posted it I guess he folded.

    He didn't fold......

Experimenting with over-bet river jams is an dear doo.

Whats your win percntage looking like ?

It's hard to overbet the river like this when you have the nuts, and you're fairly certain a normal £20 value bet will get snapped off.......

I guess it's like jamming AA utg with 13 bigs in a tourny, you have to stay consistant to balance your range, but it's heart breaking when it gets snap folded around.

I been watching durrrrrrr too much, the guys a sick man, over betting the pot x 4 to win a small pot - but everone knows it's the nuts or nothing, so daren't call him.

    I spose it just doesn't work at 30nl !!!!!

    Worked at 200nl tho ;)

    Taking drunken shots ftw.

a pair up is terrible as now his overpairs have improved to 2 pairs.

you havent lived if you havent bluffed off with J high imo

lol what are you trying to say you have? flopped set would raise flop, 3s wouldnt call the flop, 5 3 wouldnt call the flop.

so it's 6-9 or 4-6 but do you really overshove river when the board pairs?

5 is a rubbish river, i would probably just give up. If you dont think your opponents any good then you cant expect him to fold overpairs now really or possibly even top pair. I think the overbet gets called just as much as a 3/4 pot bet probably

    Oh my.

JJ, the turn and river are effectively blanks.  The only hand you are getting to fold on the river is pocket 6s from a spewy passive straight-chaser, and even then sometimes they call.  Terrible board to triple barrel and at this level you're getting called way more than you're getting tight folds.

There's an inherent problem with trying to rep sets at this level (and several levels higher IMO).  When we hit a set we can get paid royally because they are invisible.  So what makes you think someone will fold when you're pretending to have one?  You want them to call down like this when you make it, why would there be a change?

You mentioned trying to play like Durrrr in these spots.  You have two major flaws in this hand.  Firstly, he always/very nearly always has the betting lead preflop and has always put in a raise at some stage pre.  Secondly, he does this against people he knows can fold.

Don't want to be harsh mate but you haven't set this up at all well.  Then again I'm sure I've done it too :)
