shanks unlucky last hand ...he shudda pumped it up on the flop. WP him for not getting broke on the river

shanks also unlucky first hand if youd missed the river , his bluff would have worked, but he should have checked it since he had showdown value UL shanks
  • edited February 2011
had he " pumped it up" on the flop he woulda got skint! had the str by then! yes he showed great retraint on the river, was a good player.
  • edited February 2011
every hand posted is played badly fwiw.

why do you bet such pathetic amounts, can't you see how much it's costing you, you don't even get manage to get stacks in str8 flush vs a Khigh flush heads up, seriously messed up.
  • edited February 2011
thanks zing your comments are most welcome!

dont you start jj. knew it was comming lol. you, i will take it from, zing at what point did i put him on a k flush, hind site is a wonderful thing aint it. bless, ps not putting him on such a big flush on the river what would you have bet AND still get paid off? pps would i really put these hands up and open myself to this if there wasnt a reason behind it!!! dohhh you  hit the nail on the head on a comment you wrote on a thread of mine a week ago! :-)

You seem to be too obsessed with "getting paid off" and its costing you a ton of money. You also have massive bet sizing tells for anyone thats paying attention. You are signposting when you have a big hand.

Think about how easy you are making your opponents decisions. if i was your opponent i'd be grateful that you bet so small with big hands because it saves me money when i have a tough decision. You didnt get the best of me by making me call down, you made my decisions a whole lot easier by letting me only lose a % of my stack and not the whole lot.

  • edited February 2011
I agree with zing and offshoot. Most of these hands are played pretty bad. You have a massive betting leak. And putting this on the forum will show people that. Hopefully you will see this and adapt your game.

You shouldnt take offence to the feedback. They play at higher level and win tonnes of money, they are only trying to help. Although zing could have said it a bit nicer :-)
  • edited February 2011
no offence taken. i do know about these leaks (dohhhh has informed me on many ocassions) and i know i dont get close to maximising the profit  i should be making. to be fair "most" of the hands i put up are for light entertainment, dohhhh hit the nail on the head awhile ago and said i do it to wind a few experienced players who post on here. i think that is about the 10th hand i have put up with weak bets . lynx is the only one i have played on here regulary (that has posted on this thread) and is probably the best nl20 player i have come across on this site, i would be amazed if he hasnt sussed my game out by now. please understand i dont play like this day in and day out, how can i? i started playing cash at the end of nov with a br of £300, i have withdrawn that twice over so please see "some" of these posts for what they are. yes i have A LOT to learn, but not as much as i want people to think.   phil

Fair enough. I thought you took offence to zings post, by your reply. People dont like being told they played a hand bad. Especially when they won the hand.

Only thing, just cause people dont write on the forum, doesnt mean they dont read it. I know a lower stakes reg very well, he doesnt ever post, but I know he reads the forum.
    Anyway good luck

tnx stoneface, like i say i hope alot of people do read it and get an "impression" on how i play. to be fair i dont know why zing comes across the way he does. i played him once hu nl50 . i was up £25 until my fh ran into his quads!! i said well played and since then all i have had is crass comments. never been too proud to  take on "constructive" criticism.
  • edited February 2011
it was 100nl and you came in just after i slated a play you made so you were obv tilted and played the same way these hands were posted.

i hardly post anymore cause it's the same guys who've been told by numerous people like beaneh (who seems to have given up also) and lolraise their play is wrong yet keep posting the same tripe, obviously taking a more timid approach to analysing peoples play isn't working so i can't be bothered to sugar coat my answers.

more to the point, why should i? it's a place to post hands you think you played wrongly yet people get offended when they get told it's terrible and ignore the reasoning behind it which i find pretty ridiculous.

    1) at no point did i ever see a post by you, even pm a nl100 player as to who you were afterwards. thought you might be a "blonde" player 2) for mere mortals like myself who want to learn, constructive criticism does work! 3) who are you anyway

ps if i was playing nl100 i must have been steeeaming
