I cannot think of a worse Venue than The Empire for such a Tourney, with players all over the place, all scrunged up in little alcoves & side-rooms. It cannot possibly enhance the brand. It (The ME) carries a £10k price tag, it's not a Tenner Rebuy....."
The conditions were nothing short of a disgrace for players who were playing a £10,000 Tournament.
the first year of moving people between 3 different clubs was even more ridic
and harrahs dont own any casinos in the UK with the capacity to run it.
edit: the only way it could have worked was doing the first couple of days at the Hilton on somewhere but costs plus the reduced revenue of having a load of degens within walking distance of their roulette wheels.
