Yep I know I should of 4 bet pre flop!

Anyway i flop the ace, then go for the check/raise approach.

    Then guy behind shoves?!

He had been fairly quiet up to this point.

    Whats your move??

    CALL OR FOLD?

100bbs deep and I would be calling here, but folded! Too tight?

Half pot bet you make very big reraise, then to shove over that he has to have something pretty big, if it's a set he's played it so bad it's scary. imo it can only be AK although depending on how  bad a play it is, multiple 2 pair combos' aswell.

You have to call off 156 bigs to make it and unless you know he's an absolute loony that could do this with like A9 then you have to fold.

Yeah I made the re raise £3 to put the short stacker allin, then boom he shoved!

Seemed pretty dry flop so I guessed he had to have 2 pair or a set there!

I did say in the chat he lost at least one street of value vs me as I would of bet the turn too..........

I wouldn't raise flop, fold as played.

if you raise pre its a 4bet btw.

i wud be tempted to 4 bet them of there hands as i dont want to be playing A Q out of position then fold to a 5 bet or shove id make it 1.30 pre and see what happens from there but 5 way action out of position with Q A nt a nice spot 2 do your stack

Defo fold 4 me  -  stinks of a set -  Think he,s hoping you got a good ace and will call
  • edited February 2011
I would fold, AK or set here i put the opponent on

i wouldn't re-raise pre flat fine, i'd probably play hand exactly as you have tbh

dont 4 -bet pre, unless you make it a hefty one, you will only be called in 3 spots all of which you are out of position to. even then a hefty bet will more than likely be called in 2 maybe 3 spots. no point inflating the pot massively pre with AQ out of pos. flat pre as played, then i do same as you on the flop. more than likely he has A6 suited along those lines.
