i was always terrible at maths, anyway i have updated the title now!

Not the best of moves but "x" hoped he may get to see (and hit) the flop for 800 but didn't feel he could call your all-in.  He probably kept himself alive by folding and if he went on to cash (did he ?) then it was the best move given what you were holding.
