Live STT advice

edited February 2011 in The Poker Clinic
I play a regular game with around 10 other players each week. The blinds start at 100 with 12000 chips each on 10 minute blinds. I had some sucess the other week playing pretty tight because I got the cards pre-flop.

Last week the best hand I had was QJoff and this was once the blinds were 500/1000. I was so short stacked at this point (about 9 BB left) that I had to shove when I hit top pair with Qs, only for me to get a call from the chip leader who (with good pot odds) hit a runner runner straight.

My question is this. When playing a fast tournement like this, how tight should I actually be playing. What sort of range should I be playing and should I start bluffing if I don't get any hands worth playing pre?
