Hand ranges, and committed to hand by now?

Early levels of £750 guaranteed, £11 entry. Villain had come to table recently, so no reads. How do you perceive his hand preflop and on the flop- what do you do in this spot with AK? Should I have left the flop, bet more/less? Now he's been so aggressive on the flop, what do you do with that much committed to the pot?

I think it's generally thought that in 3-bet pots that a half pot bet is probably a better size to fire out.

Personally I think I 3-bet bigger pre to either take it down there and then or get stacks in.

So I might just make it 650 pre, hope he folds or shoves, but if he calls it'll a be pretty much a pot size shove on the flop.

Hard to put villain on a range without reads. He could have literally anything from QQ, JJ, AJ/KJ/QJ/JT  or maybe puting you on AK and jamming TT-77.

So you'll be getting about 4/1 on the call at this stage. I've never used stove before but would be interested to see if you had 25% against the above hands. I'd imagine you do. So probably call.
