My thinking was high pair. Not been on table that long. No real reads as such. Not played him before.

Another was when I'd flopped trip 8s. Only bet 3bb (3rd of flop) to build it up and oppo turned a full house.

Raise more with AA, about 24-28p at that level.

22 is just a bad beat yaaaaaaaawn, but the raise on the flop is AWFUL, never minraise when you have THAT hand at THIS level, should have made it a £1 or more.

K9s is a snapfold preflop.

Last hand bit blurred but basically once a player raises at THIS level you can raise VERY big, with the QQ in that spot make it anything over 45-60p.

Im sure Ive said this before on your hands, bigger is definitely better at this level!!!

The first hand after 2 limpers, make it at least 24p.

I was playing nl4 yest trying to get used to 8 tabling using the auto-focus feature, I'll try and find some hands.

I dunno if these are any help, but you definitely have a bet sizing problem, which is one of the easiest leaks to fix.......Try it your results will deffo improve.

i dont think you have done anything really wrong in these hands. When you turn pocket aces you want to trap a player or two which you have done and got really unlucky losing on the only card in the deck that beats you on the river. Most players on this site will also probably limp with 22 and will go all in after hitting the set. K 9 & K10 suited is always getting me into trouble so i tend to fold, but that depends on the table again unlucky to hit all your cards though. Pocket Q's is just not good when you only have a pound on the table. It also looks like your very quick to press the raise button, i would use my cursor abit more.

My KJ hand?

Im not sure, should I be looking to get stacks in once I turn 2 pair????

I mean his bet sizes are kinda reasonable, they arent massive, or min bets, which suggests he's betting for value rather than as a bluff/blocker......

Maybe I should jam the river with the stack sizes, just wasn't crazy about my hand on that board..........

He's betting like 1/4 of the pot on each street, doesn't exactly exude confidence to me or value bets.

Also tbh it's a pretty dry board, no flush, unlikely Q10 str8, just can't see why you wouldn't want the money in at THIS level, even higher up I couldn't imagine playing the hand that passively.

I just think that pot control is a really key part of playing 4nl.................

Sounds abit contradictory after I've been preeching about betting big, but identifying when to pot control and when to value town is important....

Maybe I got that 1 wrong.

First hand, i would be raising more with Ace's, putting the big blind all-in. However, the way the hand played, the big blind going all-in, then the second person calling, i wouldn't be flat calling, i would put in a big raise, probably going all-in. Would A7 call?

Second hand, would have went set mining too. The other person played the king's badly and got lucky.

Third hand, I fold Pre.

Fourth hand, it's a risky play to show a flop, then jam all-in, if you think your Queen's are good, why risk letting someone hit the flop, jam pre.

Dohhhhhh - yep I think you've mentioned it before about bet sizing. Looks like I've fallen back into bad habits again after taking a break.

well bet sizing today didn't work. LOL!
seemed to come up against those who just stay in regardless.
3 buyins gone.
Had top pair top kicker - 3/4 pot bets at least each time (4bb raise pre -1st to act). always called and they hit str8 on river. Board 59K rainbow (AK me v 87 them) J then 6!
QJ - flopped trip Js - in SB called small raise pre. 3/4 pot bet, called allin reraise. they have J5 and turn = 5.
Aces allin pre after a number of reraises - beat by KJ suited.

Not sure what else I can do at moment.
Time for a break i think again before i get too annoyed.
Maybe the small stake mtts.
