My Corner Challenge

I thought I would start a new betting challenge in the Asian Total Corners market.

I'm starting with a bank of £100 and my stake will always be 3% of my Highest Bank .

I have never done anything like this before, so this is for a bit of fun. I will keep my records on this thread for everyone to see how (badly) i do. lol.

All my bets will be Unders and I will post my selections on here as soon as I place the bets. Im doing all my bets on the one site, so inevitably I won't get the best price on every selection.

Any questions feel free to ask. Wish me luck.


Day 1 (15/02/2011), Today's Stake = £3.00

1.) Cardiff v Burnley   Under 11 @ 1.825
2.) Hartlepool v Charlton   Under 10.5 @ 1.95
3.) Stevenage v Oxford   Under 10.5 @ 1.85

    I guess only time will tell. I know what you mean though. I have never bet on this kind of market before, so at the moment it's just for a bit of fun. My selections are based on both teams having lower than average corners in their matches this season. Hopefully, in the coming weeks, some patterns will emerge that will improve my selections.

    Good start always like a corners bet on a game usually get 90mins worth of fun out of it.
    coupleof things i look for if the team have a long throw specialist and (sadly i know) the width of the pitch

    There are no selections today. I had a quick look at tomorrow's fixtures and there should be one bet at least for them. Then on Saturday and Sunday we will have lots.

    It's been an up and down start, only had four bets so far though. I don't think I have mentioned this before, but if for instance my bet is Under 10 and the match has exactly 10 corners, then my stake is refunded. I'm sure this will occur at some point over the weekend.

    No aint no lottery!!! Impossible to beat this over mid - long term, Couple of mi mates work setting this sort of spread and it is a gold-mine for them!!

    Like the fruitys the more u play , the more u will lose!!

    Hope u get lucky in the short term, but over a few games dont go too mad !! Good luck anyhow !!

    Thanks mate, yeh I'm not planning on retiring on the back of this system just yet lol. I was just getting a bit bored of only betting on the outcomes of matches.

    Reason for just unders is purely just to keep things simple. I'm not expecting to make any serious money out of this system, it's just something different I have never done before and a bit of fun. 

    Although next season I'm planning on doing a "laying" system on the actual result of matches. This corner system is just to give me an idea of what it's like to do one, without actually risking much money.

    Let's hope I have a better day today.

    Day 6 Results

    Made a profit of £1.94 today to give me a balance of £93.60. This system is getting a bit tedious already, so I've decided to nip it in the bud before I lose the will to live.

    But fear not, I will be starting a brand new one in the next day or two. The new one will be completely different and a lot more interesting. (And hopefully last longer than 6 days lol).
