I was pretty new to table so I didn't have no reads on the others. Did I play the hand right by putting him on a flush draw? and was I right to fold.

Opinions much appreciated

    Preflop raise is fine.

Flop reraise is good but maybe make it just a little more towards a pound.

Turn bet is way too small, if he has a flush draw you've just gave him good odds. Make it £2.50 and if he then calls your ahead over time.

River is pretty much the worst card you can see as it completes flush draw possible straight - QJ and even gives someone a better top pair. Also this is the first point at which he makes any sort of decent bet, so a snap fold for me.

Raise it to like £1.30 on flop.

Bet 3/4 - full pot bet on turn.

You had the right idea but just didn't bet strong enough.
