Tournaments for Dummies.

edited March 2011 in Poker Chat
Tournaments can be a long and difficult life for players who love them like i do. So heres some simple steps that get me by from tournament to tournament.

1. Always play the table, if blinds can be stolen take 'em, if you have a guy who sees every flop charge 'em. There is no set way to play every hand as every table will be different.

2. Put your opponents to the test. Everyone will always tell you that you can't win a tournament without winning a few flips. This is partly true, but always get your money in first.

3. Never Limp. Probably one mistake that I and many new poker players make is limping. If its an unraised pot and you wish to enter raise it up, Most of the time youll take it down pre or have one opponent to play against. This makes life easier Post flop.
