    No, i am not talking about playing strip poker with page 3 girls, sadly...

    But, my advice to a beginner at poker...

    Be a "winner" not a whinger

    Think positive at all times, but be realistic. The bad beats will happen, you can't win every race, and pocket aces don't have an automatic right to win every pot. Be graceful in victory and show dignity in defeat.

    Keep it simple, folding is good

    Limping, and calling to hit is not optimal.  Play premium hands only and do the basics well. If you have a good hand, bet it. If you don't, fold. Avoid trying to bluff when you are learning.  Calling other people's bets constantly makes me King's Cross. Stations are bad. 

    Love to Learn 

    Watch and learn from the good players. Use the poker clinic to post hands and listen to improve your game. Play within your bankroll at all times. Don't think you are Phil Ivey. Just be you, develop your own style and have fun. The poker world is your lobster Rodney, Just Go for it!!
