Murray's Mint Tips

edited March 2011 in Poker Chat

TIP 1 - Notes - Take notes on players when playing online, when playing them again you will then know there style and have a good idea on there game, its usually good to write a date, as if you play 6 months later there may have changed there style or game.

Tip 2 - Taking a break - Only play poker when you feel like playing, if your feeling a bit down or feel like you've not been playing a good game, take a couple of days break and come back refreshed.

Tip 3 - Pot control - When playing a hand you should aim to play big pots with big hands and small pots with smaller hands. Vary the pot size on the style of your opponent and the texture of the flop.
