Unlucky?

edited March 2011 in Area 51
I believe I am without doubt the unluckiest player ever to grace the tables on sky! This is a general snap shot of the beats I go through every single day....

A classic 2 outer....

God looking at that feels familier.  Just about my average day online if you add people rivering sets and cracking flopped fullhouses and straights with runner runner no pairs.

I'm sure people will be happy to tell you this is caused by your bad play and the fact that online players are better than live!!!

But for me its something else, which is why I dont play online at all anymore.  Hope it turns around for you though :)

    Excellent stuff Cummins.

Same every time I play on here.

These are pretty standard for me on Sky........

AA lost to AT after one hour.
AA lost to AT 3 hands later.
AA lost to 33  4th hand.
AK lost to QT  9th hand.
AA lost to K4  after 40 minutes.
AK lost to K6  on 4th hand.
AA lost to KK  after 20 minutes.

First hand STT of the day... I wonder what could happen?.. player noted as trying a few crazy all in flop bluffs, so I trust I'm ahead... funny enough..  (yes my betting could have been stronger pre-flop to make smaller hands fold, but Its quite possible im up against AJ KJ A10 etc) people here are usually all in after a re-raise with AK, AQ, sometimes KQ)

that post doesnt want to format correctly* but was JJ vs 98s    25/50 blinds.. 300 raise.. I re-raised to 600.. flop come Q 9 6s  Check... raise to 600 from me... other person moves 1100 all in.. just 500 to call.. runner runner spades for the flush... ouch

Can't wait for the rest of the day!

It does happen live too.. In the SPT at Newcastle in 2010, I was plodding along nicely had over 15k in chips on table without going to a showdown, noone was out, pick up KK, four of us end up being all in pre-flop..
My KK vs AA vs QQ vs 77
AA actually held up, and the guy who won this pot then had around 14k I was back down to about 12.5k (The AA guy actually went on to finish 3rd)

A few hands later I came up vs the BB on SB with J7 on a 774 flop the chips went all in vs an 84.. he hit runner 8's...
Later on, then on around 16k with blinds at around 500/1k, I was sitting on BB with KK a small raise come in from late position, I shoved and was called by A5.. you bet the A come down and I was gone as I was covered by around 3k

Poker sucks but I love it too much!

a few of the hands aint great but you've said that yourself

the amount of sit n go's you play in a day don't you realise it's normal that you're gonna take some beats

if I could be bothered I could make notes of all the outdraws and easily post 20+ a day on here

also, online is FAR better than live, it's just that the £10/20 dyms never seem to fill up the local G :-(
