Wow! it looks like the live stream was a massive hit with all of you that couldn't be there!

Huge thanks to the Skybods for working so hard and making it a great day VWP all!

Yet again it was brilliant meeting special people from previous events & meeting some special new ones, learning lots and having fun - you can't ask for anything more - it had everything right down to outrageous Area 51 type rivers, misread cards and very funny comments (DeucesLive you are that man - can't wait for your post explaining the bubble!!) the whole day was sweet as :-)

A big thank you to Ian Frazer who was on my left on the opening "table of death" he was great on the table and had lots of praise from those that played with him in the evening turbo tournament too, Also to Thewy who really has to be the nicest man in poker, having time for everyone even though I guess had very little sleep after final tabling the main event on Friday which went on until at least 6am, and yes that man was there again, the legend that is Dollie who won the evening game from over 170 runners I think, vvwp young man!!!!

Now, are we talking about that fantastic A10vsA5 hand with Shanxta? What an absolute fish!

I hadn't played a hand in like the whole game and he calls my shove with A5, unbelievable. Not satisfied with binking with J8 against AQ in the first orbit, knocking a player out, binking a 5 with 55 against QQ to knock out JohnConnor, he then gets there again... unbelievable stuff. No idea how the boy makes any money at all.

But the real fish was Diggerman, I mean... he called my shove with Q10 on a QQ2 board- doesn't he know my name? I never have less than deuces full there! N

... apart from when I misread and perhaps have 2-3 off...

Brilliant weekend anyway, some great poker fun with the SnGs (Machka refusing to play a hand for about an hour, until he called an allin with 67. And hit, ofc), ended up in the days inn bar till around 6am with Dan, Ben and the crew, which resulted in some hilarious tales which perhaps can't be repeated here... and then a drive home at 10am after 2 hours sleep. Score.

VWD to all the guys that cashed, especially Ash (Chirpy) and Graham (Tempus), great job you two! Cracking recovery from a pretty ropey beginning to say the least... lol

Massive thanks to Rich Prew, tikay,  Dave Bland, Rich Milner and all the team that helped yesterday run so smoothly again. Cheers to James H for the "deepstack" sngs and for putting up with me not being able to count.

It was great fun, and yet another disastrous performance from me. Thanks to my backers and sorry Irene..

Well done all who cashed and final tabled. See you all in Leeds i hope.

Yes, it was brilliant! Many thanks to Sky for providing this :) I would say I'm hoping for it to be in place for the Leeds event but my plan is to attend that in real 3D life (and I'll be WINNING).

Another great SPT weekend.  SPT Luton for me has been the highlight for the last 2 years.  Great venue, nice cardroom layout with easy access to all tables and decent dealers (this year at least).

Big thanks to all the Sky bods: Tikay, James, Dave, Claire, Rich M, Rich P, Carmen(?), Wayans(?) and anyone else.

The whole weekend was a blast from arriving at the Days Inn Friday evening and meeting up with Hitman and Monkey and all the usual suspects, playing the Friday night house tourny and the banter after.  Watching Tikay playing Dealers Choice was a eye-opener!

Saturday was just great, I got over the casino nice and early met some regulars and some player I knew by name but hadn't spoken to at length previously.  I really enjoyed the main event, lasted the longest I'd managed previously when I exited in 27th place.  I could hear the live-stream commentary going on around me by Tikay, Rich and Dave but only wished I could have watched it, sounded great.

As I exited the main event I managed to jump into the 9pm £25 turbo house game.  Had the pleasure of sharing a table with James H and Ian Frazer but didn't last too long in the super-turbo donkament it turned out to be.  But fun.

Played a couple of Hartigan SnG's, wished Raj the main event dealer Happy Birthday ;-) and generally made the most of the weekend.

Drove home at 3.30am to Southampton where I slept for 12 hours straight.

    Roll on Leeds.
