lolufold Win Pair of Aces £831.58   £831.58
200bb deep, a raise from UTG. A call from UTG+1, A re-raise from a tightish half stack. A 4bet from a loose player but one who is obviously strong here. (AK/JJ+) And then me as the original raiser having been fairly tight on all the tables we were on together tonight, but beside the point anyway in this spot. My range is super strong KK/AA very occasionally AKs with all the dead money and hoping Lolufold has JJ/QQ/AK and decides to fold, or if not I'm not in a too bad a shape.

Yet he snaps it off without thinking. And ofc hits that ace.

when you're as rolled as lolufold i dont think hes thinking OMG i have 2 stax at risk here.

Not really true - firstly, stack size matters a lot because 2* the stack has nothing to do with the amount of money - merely the fact that hand strength should be a lot stronger when the money goes in (unless of course you're pulling a bluff/semi-bluff)

Secondly, unless your a millionaire/don't care about money/on tilt/a fish, you're not just going to throw away £400.... you still play to win. Probably not exactly the best hand to illustrate how bad lolufold is sometimes and how lucky he gets constantly.... I was just a bit annoyed that I'd now only doubled my BR in a few days of play as opposed to almost trebling it ;)

I realise why the 200bb deep is important here, but giving that you guys obviously have a history plus AKsuited is pretty massive in 6max.  While in hindsight the call is a bad one I think you are doing the same here with QQ/JJ/AK, esp from someone who 3bets as light PF as lolufold.

He 3bets light to get his image up, so it makes it even harder to fold AKs here.

its a joke how well he runs. Just before my holiday on 2.5 / 5 he pushed all in on the river with a flush draw, he had my covered i had trips called for about 350. we all know what happened.  then he reloaded & hit a four outer on me.PUT ME WELL ON TILT.

If he pushed all in on the river with a draw, that must have been a funky game. Does he get an extra community card if he's not already winning - a bit like ManU getting as much injury time as they need?

had read and heard a bit about him . Played him at cash last night for first time albeit only a 1-2.

looks like he plays a high variance style which can result in you getting paid nicely but also means he is table captain thats for sure.

was impressed, to be honest i have no interest in playing him on a regular basis , its not +ev to play on a table of solid players and him thats for sure
