Something extra for the weekend, sir?Yes, tonight from 9, we round off the week in style with a mahoosive Sky Poker triple-whammy.Whammy Number 1- full coverage of Sky’s flagship tournament: the Sunday Night PrimoWhammy Number 2- all the developments as they happen in tonight’s nerve-shredding Viva Las Vegas FINAL!Whammy Number 3- a blast from the past for Sky Poker fans who’ve been with us since Day 1 (almost half a decade ago)…In the guest seat tonight, is THIS man…

Why, it’s only Mr. Bling himself…Carlo Citrone!Holding Carlo’s hand (in Tikay’s case, literally) throughout his re-introduction into the world of Sky Poker tonight will be my adopted dad and my good self.Incidentally- here’s a little pic I found of the two of us…hanging out…at a service station…That’s why I got into TV you know, for the glamour…

Anyway, it’s full steam ahead and, as ever, we’ll pepper the show with your fantastic contributions- so fire at will below and of course I’ll award another TSP Classic entry to the post/email of the night.More to follow…

Tonight’s hot topics are-
How did you spend today?
Something out the ordinary? If so, spill the beans.
Or was it a classic traditional Sunday for you? In which case, tell us what that involves- pub, church, casino, Burger King? Don’t be shy…
And of course…
Quiz Carlo!Yes, why not make use of a fresh perspective and ask Carlo about his views on the game and on life , his thoughts on a particular hand or situation, and explore his poker career and fascinating history.
From Carlo’s Wikipedia page…
Citrone was raised in Whitley Bay by his father John Citrone, a fifteen-time world bodybuilding champion and supplier of sports nutrition and gym equipment products.Whilst still a teenager, Citrone was given a gym from his father in North Shields to run with his fathers partner Sunderland A.F.C. footballer Dave Buchanan, on expanding the business they bought a health club in Redcar.
The health club went on to become part of a successful chain and was sold, leaving Carlo (who was suffering from insomnia) in need of a new challenge. He found this in poker and began playing tournaments at the Stanley Casino in Newcastle.
He began playing in 2001 and has won tournaments in Walsall, Melbourne, Luton and London, where he won the £500 no limit hold'em event of the 2003 British Open, defeating Lucy Rokach in the heads-up confrontation.
His major tournament money finishes include two World Series of Poker (WSOP) final tables and 2nd place in the £500 no limit hold'em event at the 2002 European Poker Championships.Citrone also appeared in the Late Night Poker television series (series 5, episode 7) where he finished 3rd, behind Dave Colclough and Charalambos "Bambos" Xanthos.
He also appeared in the 2005 World Speed Poker Open, finishing 4th in his heat.
Citrone is known for taking his time over decisions and entered the speed poker event for the extra challenge.
He has worked as an analyst on Sky Poker (channel 865)
As of 2008 his total live tournament winnings exceed $680,000.
I wanted to hang out with him in gentlemen's clubs where you receive a, ahem, specialised service.
He wanted to hang out in train stations.
So we compromised and amalgamated the words 'service' and 'station' together. FML....
What did i do today??? sleep and trawl facebook
Speaking of saving yourself, be very glad he didn't amalgamate the words into going to a "train club".
Hope the 3 of you hav a fab show, and hope whoever wins VLV has the time of their lives.
Time for 2nd power-nap of the day
Wow, GREAT question from Dohhhhhh. I'll let Carlo have first crack at that one.
I just took him across to Make-Up, not that he needs it, he's got his tan, & his stunning handsome looks even before make-up. Think I'll put a bag on Rich's head, to avoid Rich looking quite so bad in comparision.
Obv, no need for me to, Carlo wants to look like me imo.
questions for carlo
1 whats the funniest thing youve seen on a table ?
2 whats your biggest achievement ?
3 do you like porridge?
Question for Carlo. Simple really, who is the best player you have come across in the game?
: )
Question for Carlo.
What are your views on 'calling the clock' during tournaments, is it bad etiquette to do so or should their be a general understanding that enough is enough and a decision should be made ? (I personally would never call the clock on a player)
Which ones which ?
I got up late after losing an hours sleep which means I didn't lose an hours sleep due to getting up late if that makes sense.
I then had to change every clock in the house which usually ends up with me trying to find instructions for alot of the clocks as i've no idea how to set them again.
Why is it everything comes with a clock anyway ? Got two cordless phones with clocks, an oven, microwave, boiler, hard drive recorder (thankfully sky + doesn't have them) hifi, sat nav and on and on and on and on......
How many clocks does a house need ? (be carefull if reading this out on live tv by the way).
So by this time it's already lunch time, so I watched some F1, played some poker, went for a sunday roast dinner and am now back playing poker again.
Sian and I spent Sunday afternoon at Flamborough head with Charlie our 6 month old Springer Spaniel, fun had by all but I nearly got caught out by the tide! Quick retreat
For Carlo - When is the last time you went to Vegas (if at all) and if so what is your fave place to go or thing to do in Sin City.
Dave
Went to live poker tourney £20 buy in, early triple up with Quad Kings. Then exited with QQ shoving over Jacks then someone with Kings behind me GG.
My Question is..... How often do u excercise? if at all, also if u do when is that normally start of day before poker?
Have good one tonight All, good luck to those in VLV
First time poster, just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed and learnt from your shows. I qualified through the satellites for tonights Primo, was hoping to see a hand analysed. Alas I got knocked out in 275th place after, my two pair ran into a straightt. Keep up the good work, the shows are class.

Today i've mostly been forking out money, as my daughter dropped in, just as Ann and I were going to have lunch at a very nice and pricey restaurant. obviously, she tagged on (bloody students lol).
For Carlo, its great to see you on TV again, but my question is, some people won't believe that you and Tony are the same age lol(sorry), so what's your secret(and can you tell the old fellow), do you moisturize, exfoliate, or is it just good genetics.
Have a good show guys.
Col
what did i do today?
slept till midday. spent the afternoon in the park reading a good book and eating a footlong s ubway melt (extra cheese!) and drinking gallons of diet coke. came home watched the motor racing then on the site playing.
question for carlo; what is the worst thing he has seen at the poker table (excluding tikay's hairdo and rich's choice of shirts)
have fun

I then discovered that my broadband connection, which has been patchy in recent days made it rather difficult to play poker on here. Turned the router off and on again, and it wouldn't start at all. Called sky (I'm clearly a loyal customer to have their broadband too), and it appears the power supply unit, or plug as I'd call it, has given up.
This must be a sign. I'm in the VLV final tonight. The last time I lost my ability to get online and play was at the end of January when my old laptop packed up. That was the day before the VLV final which I'd also been in, and I had to buy a new netbook on the day of the tournament to be able to play.
So this afternoon, I went shopping and bought myself a mobile internet dongle, which seems to do the job as a temporary fix.
All should be well for the final. Although I may be at risk of spontaneous combustion if I have to get into another one. Good luck to you if you're playing!
