Big draw on the turn, can play it aggro or do I have to just flat?

edited March 2011 in The Poker Clinic
I've spewed big time in spots like this in the past.

But thinking more about representing hands, and board texture recently and maybe this is a spot where I can play aggressively rather than just flatting and hoping to hit?

Alot of the hands he could have wont like the king, and I could rep 22/77/JK/AKdd here too?

Or am I just getting myself in trouble thinking like that? Keep it simple, flat, and value town the river when I hit?

Thoughts;.........

I doubt you can rep a set, as I doubt you flat calls sets on this flop too often.

AKdd is 3-betting pre almost 100% of the time too.

Only hand you can realistically rep is KJ.

The K could easily have improved his holding too.

I'm not sure raising in this spot is the way to go.

    Fold pre :-)

I'm more inclined to control the size of the pot until we hit when playing this type of hand out of position.

However, the villain isn't screaming massive strength with their half pot bets, if he had a strong hand surely he would bet more on the draw heavy texture of the board. So a raise on the turn could well take the hand down there and then.

Probably flatting here doh. But if you are gonna rep then at least your giving yourself 2 chances of tyaking the pot with a massive draw. Representing the king is your best bet tbf. But hes value betting so to me hes looking strong here, hence the flat call.

Against this villain you don't have much fold equity.  Stuff like AJo snaps you off.
