Hi Trevor, wondered if you could give your views on Wengers latest attempt to put an end to the trophy drought at the Emirates. Apparently he thinks that the reason the Gunners cant win at the Emirates is because the pitch is too big and therefore he wants to reduce it from 105m by 68m to 100m by 66.7m which is the size of pitch at Highbury.
According to press reports, after a brief training session today the players will help resize the pitch with white line rollers. An Emirates insider says that Robin van Persie faces a late fitness test to decide wether it is safe for him to pick up a roller.
FIFA spokesman Olaf Orpil said that so long as the pitch conforms to the regulations they can do as they wish.
Just wondered if you had heard this and also wether you think it would work??
