his check on the turn suggests he is scared of the Q

i,d put him on A 9 and would call the river bet

you prob right, the only reason i put him on the Q is thats the way i think i would of played a Q in that position on that flop and turn.

Maybe this is why I won't be winning any poker comp in this lifetime, but
if I've already put 510 into a pot of 1050, and I am holding AA with QQQ99 on the board, there
aint no way no how, I am being forced to put this hand down!!!!!!!
He's bet the pot and no doubt those more experienced will urge caution, but whether I win
or whether I lose, I am calling this bet! :-)

Only my opinion, but i think he has a 9 here.

Hits trips on the flop and puts a bit of a value bet of half a pot. Calls the re-raise.

He hits FH on the turn, checks, thinking you were the aggressor previously, probably cant believe it when you check aswell.

River splits the pot but he tries it on and gets it through.

I call this all day. Thats probably why i only play small stakes though!

Raise much bigger on flop, around 500-600 and look to get it in. When he turns over A9 after making an awful call preflop make a note and close the table.
