Charge for first - Tourney idea
Opinions on DYMs on Sky general fall into two categories: good way to grind up a BR, and boring.
The charge for first idea is similar to a DYM, in that after the bubble, everyone gets paid the same, EXCEPT THE WINNER. For example, a possible payout for 20 runners, £1 +£0.10:
1st - £12
2nd - £2
3rd - £2
4th - £2
5th - £2
This provides an endgame to the tournament that DYMs miss out, as they finish once the bubble pops, and allows players to work on their heads-up play as well.
This type of tourney could be varied for different buy-in levels, so could be run as an STT or a larger-scale MTT.
As a SitnGo tourney, this could be run with 2000 starting stack, 10 minute blind levels, or 5 minute levels for a quicker structure, both could work.
