Time for Double Trouble? (new tournament idea)
Ok folks here is my idea for a new tournament which i think would be a great addition to the schedules.
Tourny name: Double Trouble.
Basics first. 7pm start time , Buy-in low (about £2-£5) with a 50 runner sized guarantee.
3000 starting chips with an 8 minute clock( break moved to 64 mins to compensate for the clock).
The tourny itself whilst having an 8 minute clock will only have the blinds going up on alternate levels(i.e. odd levels 3,5,7 etc).
This is all because the structure i would like to see is alternative levels of pot limit holdem and then pot limit omaha. This way each blind level will see you battling it out in both disciplines so knowledge of both the variants will be needed to excel.
