10 Seater Mini Leagues (poll added)

edited April 2011 in Poker Chat
10 Seater Mini Leagues (10SML) have the same structure as normal 10 seater stt's (1500 chips, 10 min blinds) but have set start times and play over four weeks.

You are awarde points for your finishing position in each game:
1st - 10 pts
2nd - 7 pts
3rd - 5 pts
4th - 4 pts
5th - 3 pts
6th - 2pts
7th - 1 pt
8th/10th - 0 pts

Buy-ins of £8.80 (4 x £2.20) and £22 (4 x 5.50) are suggested (you have to pay for the four games up front so that people who are not doing well in the league cannot drop out)

Half the buy-in is awarded to the top two in each game (split 70/30%) and half is carried over to the league prize pool (split 50/30/20% between the top 3).

So for an £8.80 buy-in each game will have a pay-out of £7 for 1st and £3 for 2nd and the league pay out will be £20 for 1st, £12 for 2nd and £8 for 3rd.

These are ideal for people who always play at certain times on certain days and could run throughout the schedule eg. 9am - £8.80 / 11am - £8.80 / 1pm - £8.80 / 2pm - £22 / 3pm - £8.80 / 6pm - £8.80 / 7pm - £8.80 / 8pm - £22 / 9pm - £8.80 / 10 pm - £22 / etc.

So in short, if you entered the £8.80 @ 7pm you would be playing that day at 7pm for the next four weeks.

I don't think it would be necessary to have the 10 seats filled either but obviously a minimum would be required (probably 7) with points adjusted as required (eg. if only 7 enter then 1st 7pts, 2nd 4pts, 3rd 3pts, 4th 2pts, 5th 1pt, 6/7th 0pts).
