I am a long bus ride away from being an expert, but I am betting
bigger than you did when flopping a third Ace, and if he/she is still loitering
when the full house lands on the turn, I am shoving :-)

Of course bet on turn, that's where you build the pot nicely for a shove on river, especially after he's already called the £5 on flop. Although maybe I'm not thinking enough 5th level and maybe checking shows weakness so he goes for a river steal but I never play players who think like that so just stick to the basics.

i think your only getting value on the turn if he has  the case Ace, you can induce a bluff or hero call and get two streets of value, you will be checking air and marginal hands here alot and it can get you cheap showdowns in later hands too?

totally agree about flop bet size.

me and Pryce have some meta game.  he can call me with like JJ here.  if I fire turn my thinking is that I fold out so many hands that are marginal/lose value from him bluffing with stuff like KQs on the river.

only hand that I should be getting value from turn here is AK/AQ and considering we have 2 of them thats unlikely.

would like Pryce to show what hand he had!!!

calling 3bets with 22 is questionable.
  • edited April 2011
thats an unbeleivable fold, this is a bit weird tho cos Scotty77 says bcos of ur metagame he thinks u can call with JJ here, so if thats his thinking he can easily be shoving the river lighter than a FH for value eg. 10 9. But by the same token he is far less likely to bluff shove the river if he thinks he will get a call from that wider range.

oddly i think u 100% get it all in if pryce had position on you.
