TSPC, I am a very close second to chip leader V1 and we're both well ahead of the pack. V1 is playing probably half of all hands, often just a min raise to shorter stacks, and has made some calls I'd consider very loose. e.g. his first double up it was folded to him in the SB, he 2Xs, BB shoves around 50 BBs and V1 calls with p88 which holds. Not long after he calls a shove for 2/3 his stack with top pair on a flushing, straightening board.

So with that history do you like my shove here? Better to wait for the turn? I'd probably favor the latter normally, but think he could easily call me with a weaker ace or a weaker draw than he turned out to have.

Looks fine to me, V1 is the player you need to be ahead of and you are a favourite on that flop. His last action on the flop is to call off 96 BB's on a flush draw, this is scary bad and hence you want this call every day.

Cheers dude, I wasn't sure if my shove with just TP was almost as bad as his call but I guess that's being results oriented. Happy I was well ahead of his range, just a shame it was at the end he felt he could call with.

    hey mate

i think this is fine, when you have reads on someone like this, you are well ahead of his range. He can easily show up with a worse A too, which puts you in great shape.

Yeah, if you put a gun to my head before the cards went over I would have said he had a worse A. I was more worried about A2 or A3 than the flush draw.

This guy was on the final table with you btw...wish I'd stuck around and watched to see if he bled the huge CL off or made it there with a deep stack. Still not sure if he's a mega-fish or just mega-aggro. Strongly suspect the former, hopefully will get chance to test that theory in another game with him soon.
