PGA Tour: Valero Texas Open
After an enthralling Masters last week, we are back a regular tour event.
My main pick in this event is Geoff Ogilvy @ 11/1. He looked in great shape last week in Augusta with his T4th finish. The five consecutive birdies on the back 9 to get himself into contention were amazing. He has had a steady start to the season with 4 top 25’s from 7 events, so hopefully his form will be peaking this week and he can go close.
Secondly, I have gone for Ryan Palmer @ 33/1. He also managed a top 10 last week at Augusta which is a great achievement. Add this to his course form here, where he had a top 10 in this event last year, and this price looks good value.
European Tour: Malaysian Open
The tour heads back over to Asia again for few weeks. The three big boys from the Masters are all playing in McIlroy, Schwartzel and Kaymer.
My main pick however is NOH Seung-yul @ 30 /1. His win here last year is one of two victories for the talented 20 year-old. This guy is going to be a superstar one day.
Finally, I have gone for Danny Willet @ 45/1. The young Englishman looked to find form in the final two rounds of his last event to finish in T11th. He had a top 6 finish in this event last year and will hopefully go well again here.
Good Luck if you’re having a bet.

Comments
Spencer levin 40/1 - Has the game to suit this course and is a better player than when tied for ninth last year.
JJ Henry 50/1 - Went to college in Texas and sits sixth in ball-striking; likeable profile for this.
Ryan Palmer 33/1 - Texan whose tie for 10th in the Masters can provide the springboard for a title assault.
James Driscoll 200/1 - Form figures of 2 - T9 in this event make the price appear generous.
James Driscoll to lead after round 1 150/1 - See above, also shot an opening 63 to lead in Puerto Rico recently.
Maybank Maylasian Open
Johan Edfors 66/1 - Can be erratic but good record in this event and playing well currently.
Marcus Fraser 135/1 - Hit winning form this time last year and should be inspired by Aussie efforts at Augusta.
Thongchai Jaidee 25/1 - Thai legend he should be raring to go in one of his favourite events.
Simon Dyson 50/1 - Caught the eye in Spain recently and bags of experience in the Far East.
Good Luck
