need to find that fold button pre flop AJW !

Anyone who says the flush comes in every time, should refer to those 2 hands too

    ;)
  • edited April 2011
gotta call with some range of garbage hands pre or I might as well keep folding all the way!!

Just saying I think the author of this threas has a much villified verifed POINT about FLUSH DRAWS ,they never seem to hit!
  • edited April 2011
hmmm are they saying they never hit?

    or always hit??

I've read umpteen posts on here saying the flush comes every time.

Now someone is saying they never come.

Maybe they're both wrong, and they just come in a normal %age of the time ??? ;)

    Make ya mind up folks!

It must be a funny thing to be paranoid that black is white and then someone equally paranoid tells you that black was in fact black all along but THEY just wanted you to think it was white.

I used to hate it when I felt I had a valid point to put across and someone steps in and drops the hammer with "If you think online is rigged dont play it" remark.  But there really is alot of truth to it.

Why would you continue at something you feel is underhand, its not like its going to be fixed tomorrow, everything then being okay.  If you choose to play online you really need to accept it for what it is and try not to complain.  This coming from a reformed ranter.

AJW u should be ashamed....i mean honestly,i used to think maybe you had something useful to say,

i was even prepared to listen to the chinese bad beat hackers, but to post that 34 suited lost to AA and 89,and that q3 suited lost to KK,is quite frankly and advert for lunacy....

Double the dose of those tranquilizers I say.

Let's see, folded to him on the button, so he shoves with 6 bb's and you call being 85% favourite.I'll take those odds every time.Just remember, 15% comes in 15% of the time.

What percentage are you seeing returned on flush draws?
  • edited April 2011
should be about 45% shouldnt it??

It's a ridiculous question, and the answer is insignificant.

I'd have to play 15 tables 20 hours a day for 6 years to get a significant sampole size.

I honestly have no idea, as soon as a suck out comes an goes, or I get lucky, it's gone and is out of my mind. As long as I'm within my bankroll I don't feel it either way.

I'm too busy making notes on the previous hand, how bad my opponent played it etc etc to worry about winning/losing streaks with flush draws.

If I'm having winning sessions I'm probably hitting more than I should, If I'm losing I'm probably missing more than I should, or they're hitting etc etc.

Factor in my edge though and I could be running -ev and still winning, so It's hard to tell.

Selective memory is what they call it I think.
  • edited April 2011
not too long ago i tested out how many times i hit flush playing any two suited cards and the results were crazy, the odds of hitting it are between 15 and 16 to 1. I think i hit it more like 14/1 CRAZYNESS. Honestly though after getting a flush draw you need to remember the odds of completing it are still about 30% i think, so its not a good idea to shove when the draw is there unless your trebling up on it TBH.

You shouldn't even be thinking about it.
  • edited April 2011
I would say i hit a flush on the turn or river approx 30% of the time BUT i feel that there is only a 10% chance of that ;)
