Unfortunately, having just been outed as a poker playing, alcoholic child abuser (along with the rest of you), i feel that the act of purchasing drinks for one so young would probably be seen as grooming so buy your own. Lol

As i am a new player on sky, and havent played a live mtt in the UK yet i am just wondering if all we have to do having qualified for the Leeds game is turn up at the casino?

I am used to having instructions and advice emailed to me about an event that i have qualified for on other sites, like Caribbean Cruise, WSOP etc.  Do SkyPoker send out advice on how to get to get to the events, where is best to stay in the area, what time we have to meet for the game and all that stuff?

I will be travelling up to Leeds for the Friday night and hope to be there by 7pm in order to possibly play in a game (if there is one?)  on the Friday night.

    Any advice?

BTW, Hursty, Ienjoyed playing with you last week for a bit even if you did take me for a hundred! Think u should buy me a beer instead.  Look forward to meeting the community players in the flesh

In fairness, you make a reasonable point. Given the e-mails we get regularly from Sky, an e-mail confirming details for the event would not be out of order, but it doesn't happen. There will be a thread put up in this forum by the Sky bods with all the details you seek. Basically, yes, turn up an hour or so before the start time, with ID to join the casino, and that's about it.
There is a Friday tournament, but they have changed it from the usual £15 freezeout to a £50 freezeout (so pay your moeny and take ur choice) as few of us might be at an alternative venue on the Friday.
