Like everything it depends on stack size, image etc

In general dont slowplay though, just get money in the pot when you have a big hand

If you have a good sense of OP range on a dry board, believing he'll pay you off with a defined weaker hand is fine.

But over the long haul you'll get less money in any pot with the slow play.

slow playing AA, KK is becoming a new trend i believe but this is one argument against doing it

Seems more like he was hoping from a raise with the limp utg pre, rather than the slow play.  New trend???

yeah a new trend, if this player was hoping for a raise on the pre then he has read the table awfully bad as the table was very safe with very few raises pre with a reasonable amount of limping into a raised pot.

by new trend iv noticed alot more players are slow playing AA & KK, just flat calling all the way and trying to get the money in on the river.

another trend iv noticed is players starting to limp/shove pre-flop and this play baffles me no end
